There are a few questions we hear often and we wanted to provide a place for you to get all the answers you need. See below for some of our most frequently asked questions and their answers!

For parents dealing with children using narcotics, is often an ongoing issue that becomes a battle for years. By having our K9 teams conduct random searches at your residence, it provides peace of mind that is priceless. All of our searches are discreet, therefore, if narcotics are found by our K9s, parents are able to confidently seek help for their child before it turns into something larger. The ultimate goal is to identify if there is a problem in your home and whether or not your child needs professional assistance. Its essential for parents and their children to build and maintain trust in a residence for their own sake and the sake of other children in the home.

Our company is mission-based and is considered an independent contractor. The state does not provide funding for services where K9s search for firearms and narcotics at school on an independent basis. Law enforcement does not have firearm searching K9s and do not conduct routine narcotic searches with K9s due to search and seizure laws and lack of manpower. By using our services, the school can take the necessary steps to proactively respond to the situation.

The biggest impact you can make is by talking more about the importance of an issue like this. Some of the places this can be done include speaking up at PTA meetings, creating petitions, helping to obtain donations, meeting with headmasters and principals, and hosting events involving parents and children to further spread the word. Our company is mission-based and is considered an independent contractor. By using our services, the school can take the necessary steps to proactively respond to the situation.

If a K9 alerts on a particular area, the handler will mark that area so it can be handled accordingly by the school admin. At no time will K9 teams get involved with searching on alerted areas. It will be at the schools’ discretion whether any findings remain in house or becomes an external issue.

Upon arrival, the K9 handler will make contact with a supervisor who will be accompanying him or her that day. The supervisor will provide the handler a few areas that they wish to be searched on that particular day. The handler will get his K9 from the vehicle and begin searching the areas desired. At no time will searches interfere with students learning or class time. Each search will be well planned and organized to keep everything as discreet as possible.

Our K9s have a success rate of 98% in conducting and alerting on possible firearms and narcotics presence. If any contraband is found after a K9 has alerted on a certain area, it is at the school’s discretion on how the incident will be handled – whether internally or externally. Our K9 teams only provide the search and alert status if present. Our K9 teams do not conduct any searches of the area the K9 alerts.

After each search is conducted, a detailed report on what the dogs alerted on and where will be provided for your records.

The dogs can be trained to detect nearly anything (for example: cell phones, vape pens/juices, other weapons), but our dogs are highly skilled at detecting narcotics, ammo, and firearms.

Our K9s will conduct thorough searches in the school to find any firearms and ammo present.
